Learner Engagement: What is the big deal these days about learner engagement? Well, in a nutshell, do you learn better when something is interesting and fun or when something is so boring you are about to fall asleep? Exactly.

So, what's the big deal? What's wrong with textbooks? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. What's wrong is what we do with the text book. Are we leading students into exciting and interesting scenarios where they have to make choices and learn how to learn? More  often than not, we assign worksheets, textbook pages to read, with little guidance and with little growth occuring. We are often more concerned about the quantity of material they push through than the actual CONTENT of the material itself.

So, that brings me to tools. What if there are hundreds of exciting, relevant ways to engage learners right at our fingertips? Well, you're in luck because there are! In fact, there are so many tools out there that it's almost overwhelming trying to figure out which one to use.

So, my goal with this website I created is to make that easier for everyone by creating a tool resource site that explains what a tool does, what it costs, and where to access it.

I hope you find this site helpful and I look forward to hearing from you.
